Mark Evans founded ToledoBend Audio Video (TAV) in 2026 as a locally owned and operated company serving both the Louisiana and Texas sides of Toledo Bend Lake. This new venture wasn't a fresh start—it was bringing 44 years of consumer electronics experience home to the community he now lives in.

Since 1982, Mark has dedicated his career to this industry. For the past 30 years, he focused on custom Smart Home Systems integration, designing, installing, and programming systems in some of the finest luxury homes in Houston's most prestigious neighborhoods. Now, those same standards come to Toledo Bend Lake Country.

Four decades taught Mark a simple truth: excellence isn't special—it's expected. You show up when you say you will. You finish what you start. You treat customers the way you'd want your own family treated. And you stand by your work long after the install is done.

The technology has transformed over the years—from the golden age of hi-fi through home theater to today's fully integrated smart homes. The gear has changed, the job hasn't: understand how a family lives, then build technology into their home so naturally it disappears.

We supply top-tier equipment from the world's leading manufacturers and hold the certifications to design, install, and program every product we sell. That last part matters. A smart home is only as good as its design and programming, and we never hand that off to a subcontractor or a support line in another time zone.
